Don't you just hate it when you feel that you just being hoodwinked but nevertheless had no opportunity to tell that person. Well i did feel that way a few days ago, just got my payment from this tuition school (couldn't say the name maybe the tauke is searching and the internet and came out of the searches). Better stay low right? I have been teaching there for 2 months now and not really satisfied with the payment. For the first month, it was $82 for History class, Primary 4 B.Melayu/Sejarah and Primary 3 class (all subjects). This month $87 which is just a few increase.
I guess that there is something fishy with the payment method, during the interveiw the payment should be $19, but that was for 5 subject package and we've been pay for 8 subject package which was a lot more cheaper. The thing was it seems that the management wants the student (more precisely the parents) to take the 8 subjects package and the teachers are given more hours to teach than other tuitions school more than once a week/2hrs. If we calculated logically which was more cheaper in teachers' commissions. Then if the student didn't come but the teachers was told to come, they didn't pay for that time. and must be relieved. Which was the opposite with what other tuitions school does.
There a lot of hidden agendas (if you could say that way), but still i have to investigate it more further.
But for sure the tuition school itself is not registered with the Brunei MoE. Then some cuts of the payment goes to the management not the teachers and the workloads are hectic its like cheap labour. The time table is horrendous and the tauke is living in her own world and a bit of narcissistic, you could say that she's an alice.Never think of others workloads, lives and everything to do with others. In the mind of the tauke is money, profits and easy income.
If i say i could last till a year, it would be a lie, but i think i give it six month first then i resigned.
